  54.   Hi, I remember an old timer telling me, a long time ago, that single tube
  55. crystal controlled transmitters had problems with the crystal heating. Altho,
  56. a 15 watt oscillator might very well have problems with cap heating, too.

  58.   Did i understand u right? Is this the infamous single tube crystal controlled
  59. transmitter, from years and years ago, that u have built?

  92. The LTC1099 is a High Speed 8-bit A/D converter wih a built in
  93. sample and hold. Linear Technology is the manufacturer.
  94. You can call to Linear Tecnology 408-432-1900 to get a list of
  95. distribuitors.

  111. I am rebuilding a E.F. Johnson MT-9100 mobile telephone to be used for the
  112. 432-438 MHz amateur band. It works quite well except for the power-amplifier
  113. which seems to have a broken transistor.
  114.  
  115. Unfortunately these transistors (actually all in the unit) has E.F. Johanson
  116. proprietary numbers on them, and there is no translation table into "normal"
  117. numbers.. However, one can conclude who has manufactured them.

  119. Please could anyone help me translate these E.F. Johnson numbers into real
  120. numbers:
